SC Planning is owned and run by Sarah Collins. Sarah has a Masters in Town Planning and 15 years of experience in planning within both the public and private sectors in commercial and residential property, until April 2019 working as a Principal Planner within the Major Projects Team at Brighton & Hove City Council, and more recently working for Lewes & Eastbourne. This experience of working within Council planning departments provides SC Planning with a valuable insight into how they operate and maintains good relationships with planning officers, the benefits of which are passed onto the client.
Sarah established SC Planning to help homeowners and businesses obtain planning permission and to speed up this often time consuming and frustrating phase of building projects. Sarah keeps abreast of the constantly changing planning policies and has a variety of useful contacts, including architects, heritage consultants, surveyors and tree and ecology specialists, and works closely with them throughout the planning phase to deliver a seamless service.
Based near Lewes, SC Planning covers
East Sussex, including Brighton, Eastbourne, Hailsham and Uckfield.
